MallorcaBot is Matthias' personal local guide for Mallorca. Free, trilingual, no subscription, no tracking.
Matthias Meyer has lived on Mallorca for 15 years. Finca at the foot of the Tramuntana near Selva, office in Palma. In that time he has seen the island from every angle, from the German tourist village to the inland corner where no bus goes. MallorcaBot is his attempt to pour those 15 years into something useful.
The idea: instead of generic travel-guide cliches and yet another 'ten beaches you must visit' list, a guide that explains the real differences. Why Soller feels different from Pollensa. When Cala Figuera is empty in the morning and insane in the afternoon. Where locals go to market on Wednesday. Which villages close up in August and which come alive then.
MallorcaBot is a project by StudioMeyer, Matthias' design and AI studio. Technically it is a knowledge graph plus chat interface. Website, embedded chatbot on the site itself, Telegram bot, later WhatsApp and a dedicated MCP server so other AI agents can query the Mallorca knowledge directly.
Status April 2026: Phase 0. Infrastructure is live, the database is being filled. Matthias is writing the first 200 curated spots by hand. After that content grows organically. Questions, tips, or you're a local provider who wants to be in the database: [email protected]
